The first snow fall at the end of the year is in fall. The potted herbs on the back deck at my Chappaqua home took the brunt of the white stuff Tuesday (11-12-13).
It is time to move the rosemary, thyme and parsley indoors. Thanksgiving is just around the corner. There is nothing like fresh herbs for cooking.
Winter does not start for another month. Guess Mother Nature had other plans. She always does.
