7 Local Firefighters Graduate

128 firefighters from around Westchester County finished training.

Seven volunteer firefighters from the Mount Kisco-New Castle area graduated last week. They are among 128 who were honored on July 19, at a ceremony in Valhalla, at Westchester County's Department of Emergency Services. A total of 41 fire departments were represented.

“I know that many of you came here to tackle your training after putting in a hard day at work or at school," Westchester County Executive Robert Astorino told the graduates, according to a media release. "So I thank you for the commitment you have shown to your training and for the service you are prepared to give to your communities.”

Local fire departments added the following graduates:

Mount Kisco

Alex Duffy

Brendan Ford

Omar Herrera

Matthew Muccioli

Quentin Stanford

Chappaqua

Philip Khairi

Millwood

Scott Drexler
