A section of Route 22 in Katonah was closed earlier today due to a fuel spill, according to Bedford Police.
The spill happened due to vehicle striking a truck in its fuel tank area, according to police. One of the people involved sustained a minor injury and was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco.
Bedford Police and the Katonah Fire Department were on scene, police said.
The area of the road that was affected is around Mustato Road and the Jay Street extension. Clean up was still in progress as of early Monday afternoon, according to police, who first announced the incident through the Nixle alert system.
