Groundbreaking Celebration for New Millwood Firehouse

(Below is a copy of an invite to the community from the Millwood Board of Fire Commissioners for groundbreaking of the new firehouse)

Dear Neighbor,

On Sunday, October 6, the Millwood Fire District and Millwood Fire Company #1 will be celebrating the start of construction for our new firehouse with a groundbreaking ceremony to kick off the Fire Company’s annual Open House. We’d like you to join us for this happy event.

Celebrations start at 11:15 at Station #1 located at 60 Millwood Road in downtown Millwood. We’ll gather for coffee and donuts at the old firehouse before making our way to the new site for the groundbreaking ceremony. We’ll then return to Station #1 for a BBQ, truck rides and crafts for the kids, a trolley ride through the District, as well as fire safety education for kids and adults. Open House starts at 1 PM.

It's a great community day and we would like to share the occasion with you. Please join us!
