Event serves as chance for public to see what fire department does.

Mount Kisco's fire department had plenty to offer for the public with its open house on Sunday.

The event was held at the Green Street firehouse, and included events ranging from a controlled structure blaze, to rides on the fire trucks, to the use of Daisy, an arson dectection dog from the Westchester County police.

Mount Kisco Fire Chief Tom Jackson said the event is "to show what we do to the public."
