Mount Kisco Man Accused of Stabbing Man's Neck

Police announced that a 67-year-old Mount Kisco man was arrested and accuse him of stabbing another man in his neck.

Joseph Holmes was charged with first-degree assault, which is a felony, police announced. Holmes is accused of stabbing the man at a family party at 60 Maple Ave. after the two "exchanged heated words at the party." Holmes is then accused of fleeing to his nearby residence and was arrested there, according to police.

The victim was subsequently brought to a trauma center, police stated.

Holmes was arraigned by Justice Mark Farrell, according to police, adding that bail was set "at $2000.00 cash or $4000.00 bond." Holmes' next date in court is Jan. 30 at 7 p.m., according to information from police.
