Mt. Kisco Police: $10,000 in Jewelry Reported Stolen

It was reported to police that approximately $10,000 worth of jewelry was stolen was Rose Garden in Mount Kisco.

Dec. 16, 5:30 p.m., South Moger Avenue

According to Mount Kisco Police, more than 20 gold chains worth approximately $10,000 were reported stolen from Rose Garden Jewelers. The chains were stored in a box and were left unattended, police said.

Man Accused of Violating Protection Order

A 48-year-old Mohegan Lake man is accused of violating an order of protection issued in favor of a Mount Kisco woman. He is accused of trying to contact her through ways including calling and showing up at her house, and was picked up at his residence by police. The man did not meet or speak with the woman in either instance, police said.
