Yorktown Man Arrested for Alleged Cocaine, Marijuana Possession
Sept. 22, 8:13 p.m., South Moger Avenue
Police arrested a 27-year-old Yorktown male after it was found that he fit the profile of someone they were looking for based on a complaint; the cause of the complaint was not available. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance for allegedly possessing cocaine, plus unlawful possession of marijuana.

A 27-year-old Shrub Oak woman was arrested after a traffic stop and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a non-criminal violation.
Catalytic Converter Thefts
Sept. 27, 10:45 a.m., Kisco Avenue
More than $35,000 worth of catalytic converters, or more than 20, were reported stolen from the Lexus dealership, at the rear lot. It is believed that they were reported between 6 p.m. the following day and 10 a.m. the morning of the report.
Business Owner Thinks Mover Stole His Scanner
Sept. 24, 11:50 a.m., Main Street
A 74-year-old Somers man, who runs a tax services business, reported that a scanner was unaccounted for during a recent move he made for his office. He suspects that an employee of the moving company is responsible, although nobody has been arrested yet.
CVS Suspects Employee Stole Cash
Sept. 25, 2:47 p.m., South Bedford Road
CVS reported that it believes one of its own employees stole its cash. The company declined to press charges but hasn't ruled out doing so at a later date.
Trespassing Arrest
Sept. 26, 4:25 p.m., Amuso Drive
A 24-year-old male, a former resident of Pinecrest Manor who was served papers directing him not to come back, is accused to violating the order by going onto the premises. He was arrested and charged with trespassing, a misdemeanor.
