New Castle Police Arrest Kisco Man for Alleged DWI

Umberto Albaro Galicia charged with aggravated drunk driving.

A 24-year-old Mount Kisco man is accused of driving drunk on Route 117 in Chappaqua, police announced.

Umberto Albaro Galicia was pulled after on Tuesday afternoon near Kittle Road. Police claim that he showed signs of being intoxicated. He was subsequently brought to the police station and gave a blood alcohol content (BAC) level of .19, police said. He was charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) and aggravated DWI, which is given as a charge for people accused of having a BAC of .18 or higher. Both are misdemeanors.

The defendant has a town justice court appearance date of March 1, police said.
