Photos: Local FDs Earn Accolades in Pleasantville Parade
Volunteers and apparatus from Chappaqua, Mount Kisco, Millwood and Armonk participated Friday evening.
More than 25 area fire departments marched Friday evening in Pleasantville's annual Firefighters' Parade.
Among them were volunteers and apparatus from Chappaqua, Mount Kisco, Millwood and Armonk.
Millwood received trophies for "Best Department" with 25 firefighters and under participating, "Best Overall Antique" and "Best Color Guard" with 16 to 25 firefighters.
Mount Kisco was awarded the trophies for "Best Appearing Department" with 16 to 25 firefighters and "Best Pumper."
Mount Kisco Ancients also took home awards for "Best Junior Music Unit" and "Best Drum Majorette."
