Police: Water Main Break 'in the vicinity of' Mount Kisco Intersection

(Editor's Note: Mount Kisco police announced a water main break "in the vicinity of" the intersection of West Main Street, Maple Avenue and Kisco Avenue. Below is a copy of the notice, which urges people to avoid driving in the area)

Due to a water main break in the vicinity of West Main Street / Maple Avenue & Kisco Avenue, travelers are encouraged to seek alternate routes of travel. 

Access to Route 133 and the Saw Mill Parkway can be made by using Preston Way to access the Kisco Ave exit of the Saw Mill River Parkway. 

Motorists should consider avoiding Maple Ave, Kisco Ave south of Preston Way, and West Main St until traffic has cleared. 

Water department personnel are currently isolating the break and water pressure is anticipated to be restored in 3 to 4 hours.
