Curran Resigns from New Castle Planning Board

Board member Gerard Curran stepped down, town administrator confirms, and a replacement is being sought.

New Castle Planning Board member Gerard Curran has stepped down, Town Administrator Penny Paderewski said.

She said that he wrote a letter explaining his decision, which had to do with the number of concurrent activities he was doing.

“He resigned because he had a lot on his plate," Paderewski said.
