UPDATE POST, 11:23 p.m. Tuesday
The incumbent Mount Kisco mayor and trustees easily fended off write-in challengers, according to unofficial results from Village Manager (and Village Clerk) James Palmer.

With all election districts (and all party ballot lines) counted, Mayor Michael Cindrich got 1,202 votes to just 53 write-ins for mayor, the later of which could include challenger Patric Kilkenny, who ran in opposing the possible consolidation of the police department with the Westchester County Department of Public Safety.

Meanwhile, Deputy Mayor George Griffin and Trustee Anthony Markus received 1,101 votes and 1,102 votes, respectively. Twenty-seven write-in votes were made in the corresponding trustee seat column below Griffin, while 25 were made in the column below Markus, giving a total of 52. Those votes could include Kilkenny's running mate, local roofing company owner Don Holohan.

ORIGINAL POST:
The Team New Castle candidates for supervisor and two council seats is leading their Democratic counterparts, according to unofficial data from the Westchester County Board of Elections.

With five of 16 election districts available, Rob Greenstein leads Penny Paderewski in the race for supervisor by 826 votes to 659. For the two available council seats, Team New Castle's Adam Brodsky and Lisa Katz lead with respective counts of 813 and 870. Democratic candidate and incumbent Councilman John Buckley trails with 669 votes, while fellow Democrat and former Councilman Michael Wolfensohn has 609.

Democrats lead in one municipal race, which is town justice. Noah Sorkin is ahead of Team New Castle's Stuart Miller by 844 votes to 657.

Team New Castle was on the Republican and Independence ballot lines. The Democratic slate, aside from having its eponymous line also had one for the Working Families Party.

In nearby Mount Kisco, the results are less clear. With two of seven districts in, Democratic incumbents, including Mayor Michael Cindrich, Deputy Mayor George Griffin and Trustee Anthony Markus are shown with leads and having 100 percent of the vote. However, the board does not post write-in tallies online during election nights, so it is unclear how many votes mayoral challenger Patric Kilkenny has and how many were garnered by trustee challenger Don Holohan.

At the county level, Democratic incumbent Peter Harckham leads Republican challenger Andrea Rendo in the race for county legislative district 2 by 3,535 to 2,941. In that race, 27 of 52 districts are in. For county legislative district 4, Democratic incumbent Michael Kaplowitz leads Republican challenger Gregory Kane by 2,644 votes to 1,473, with 20 districts in. District 2 includes Mount Kisco while District 4 includes New Castle.

The results for each of the races are counted based on the sum of the candidates' votes from all of their party ballot lines.
