New Castle Councilman John Buckley Joins Douglas Elliman

Buckley, who volunteers with several local organizations, joins the firm after being a realtor at Houlihan Lawrence.

New Castle town Councilman John Buckley, who is a real estate broker in his day-time profession, has a new job at Douglas Elliman Real Estate.

Buckley, who worked as a realtor at fellow real estate firm Houlihan Lawrence's Chappaqua office, will remain in the hamlet by working at Douglas Elliman's location at 101 King St. In addition, Buckley is also a buyer's agent and specialist.

“My top priority to my clients is providing them the very best in service,” Buckley said in a statement released by the firm. “By joining Douglas Elliman, a powerful brand that offers infinite resources, I am offering my clients the absolute best they can get.”

“John is knowledgeable of all the Northern Westchester communities and is committed to providing top-notch customer service to his clients,” Gabe Pasquale, who is the firm's executive vice president Executive for Westchester County, said. “His community ties and devotion to going above and beyond make him a valuable member of Douglas Elliman.  We are proud to welcome him to our team”. 

Buckley, who has lived in Chappaqua for about 20 years and has two kids, is involved in town in several ways in addition to his elected capacity. They include being a Chappaqua volunteer firefighter, a Chappaqua Rotary member and serving on the board of New Castle Community Media Center. He also coaches kids in town recreation programs.

Before going into real estate, Buckley was a director of legal affairs for an architectural and engineering firm of about 1,300 employees.
