SUNDAY: Swearing in for Kisco Trustees, Judge

Incumbent Jean Farber, newcomer Karen Schleimer will take their oaths of office for Mount Kisco's Village Board of Trustees.

Dec. 1 marks the start of the terms for two Mount Kisco village trustees and on the following day they will have their chances to take public oaths of office.

Jean Farber and Karen Schleimer will be sworn in at 5 p.m. at Village Hall, the village announced Wednesday in a community email alert. The seats each carry 2-year terms.

Schleimer, a Planning Board member and former Zoning Board of Appeals member, will start her first term, while Farber will start her second. The pair, both Democrats, won their seats earlier this month in uncontested races.
