Welcome Our Hebrew School Principal

Exciting news at Joyful Judaism - PCS!

We are delighted to announce the appointment of beloved Jewish Educator Galit Sperling to the role of PCS’ Hebrew School Principal.

Galit brings outstanding credentials to our Hebrew School.  She has taught our B’nei Mitzvah students Torah and Haftarah for years, worked with Hebrew School students at Congregation Sons of Israel and PCS, and has a minor degree in Hebrew and Judaic studies from NYU.

Galit is currently the Director of Education at the Little Village Playhouse (LVP), a Pleasantville institution.  She also created and runs a highly successful summer theatre camp - SummerStage Camp at the Little Village Playhouse - for 5-18 year olds.

Please come and meet Galit at our Synagogue Open House, join us for dinner, and celebrate Shabbat services with us on Friday, June 14th --- Doors open at 5:45 pm --- Pajama Shabbat (for children to age 5) at 6:00 pm --- Festive Shabbat Dinner at 6:15 pm --- Family Shabbat Service (all ages) at 7:15 pm --- Oneg Shabbat Refreshment Hour at 8:15 pm. The June 14 Dinner is free but RSVP’s are a must!
