Chappaqua PTA Approves 2012-13 Officers

New leadership team to start July 1.

At its Monday meeting, Chappaqua PTA members voted to approve a new slate for district-wide and school-specific officers.

The new officers are for the 2012-13 school year. They will start on July 1, which is, for administrative and legal purposes, the school year's start.

"I'm thrilled," said Maura Marcon, who was chosen as the new overall PTA president. Marcon has previous experience in the PTA, having been chair and vice chair for the PTA's chapter for Robert E. Bell Middle School.

The new vice president is Susan Fisher, whose background includes having served as chair and vice chair of the PTA's chapter at Roaring Brook Elementary School.
