Fleishman: Not Clear When Full Power Will Come Back to Grafflin

School is on emergency power, limited phone service.

Power at Douglas G. Grafflin Elementary School was limited today. While regular power and heat have been out, the school is using a generator provided by the Town of New Castle, said Chappaqua Central School District Superintendent David Fleishman. The school is also on limited, emergency-only phone service.

Fleishman said that there is no clear time for when power will be restored, which he said Con Edison is working on. He also gave advice to continue to dress warmly.

As for Monday at school, Fleishman said it went well and it was "a real team effort," and that people pulled together.
