Newtown School Kids Return to Classes

Monroe Police Lt. Keith White and Newtown Police Lt. George Sinko held a press conference at Wolfe Park about Sandy Hook Elementary School's first day of classes in Monroe.

The children, teachers and administrators of Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT had their first day of classes in neighboring Monroe on Thursday morning. Newtown Superintendent of Schools Janet Robinson said they will be in the former Chalk Hill School building in Monroe for the rest of the academic year.

Monroe Police Lt. Keith White and Newtown Lt. George Sinko addressed the media at a brief press conference held off site this afternoon, in the parking lot of Wolfe Park on Cutlers Farm Road.
