Please know that in the Ossining School District and the greater Ossining Community, we have been proactive in order to protect our students, staff, and community at large.  We have contacted the Police Department and communicated directly with Captain Scott Craven who generously initiated police support in our schools and in our community today.  Our BOCES Regional Safety Coordinator Michael Sellet from Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES was contacted in addition to the Police.

Today, supervision in our schools was enhanced even further.  As always and next week in particular, our Principals will once again review their School Emergency Plans with their School Emergency Response Teams to reinforce our vigilance in protecting our students and staff as well as ensuring high levels of safety and security.
