Patricia Dunn to Hold Fox Lane MS Book Signing

Author and Fox Lane Middle School parent will hold signing at the school on Wednesday as part of its book fair, parents' group announces.

Author Patricia Dunn will be making a stop at Fox Lane Middle School on Wednesday for a book signing to coincide with the school's book fair, according to the school's parents' group.

The Fox Lane Middle School Association (FLMSA) announced that Dunn, who is also a FLMS parent, will be signing copies of her book, which is called "Rebels by Accident." 

According to Dunn's website, her novel is about a 16-year-old Egyptian-American girl named Miriam and "quest for love and adventure on the revolutionary streets of Cairo." Miriam's challenges include dealing with an identity that is multicultural and with the relationship between she and her family.

Dunn is scheduled to appear on the third day of the middle school's book fair. According to FLMSA, the dates for it are: Monday and Tuesday from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., and Wednesday from 7:15 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. The fair will take place in the school's Little Theatre, which usually holds student artistic events and Bedford Central school board meetings. No specific hours for Dunn's signing, within the Wednesday activity, were announced.

Proceeds from the book sales, according to FLMSA, go to supporting its work, and to get books for the schools library and teachers.
