Snow Days Abound For Schools, Government and Transit

A run down of closures and special schedules due to the snow storm.

With the National Weather Service forecasting between six to ten inches of snow for both Mount Kisco, Chappaqua and Millwood, and with wind gusts forecasted as being up to 37 miles per hour, this has resulted in closures and contingency schedules for a number of public institutions.

Both the Bedford and Chappaqua school districts have shut down for the today, giving students the day off.

For commuters, Metro-North is operating on a storm schedule for the day, and Bee-Lee bus service has been scaled back on several routes across the county.

Other services and events that have shut down include justice court and recreational facilities in Mount Kisco, and tonight's New Castle Architectural Review Board meeting.
