Eagles Flying High: Daily Sports Digest June 19

Boys Youth Soccer

The Chappaqua Screaming Eagles defeated the host Riverdale Wildcats 3-0 on June 17 in the Westchester Youth Soccer League's boys 14-4 division according to its website, keeping them in first place with 6-1-3 record.

Baseball

New Castle (2-0) and Mount Kisco (0-1) both compete in the Westchester Putnam Baseball Association's 10-year-old division as per its website.

Men's Softball

The below "B" schedule was taken from the New Castle Adult Softball League website:

Hi Lisa! Thanks for your questions. In this unit (Vehicles In Motion) the kids will build CoasterRead More Cars and test different aspects of the motion of their vehicles such as: distance traveled, acceleration, straightness, and friction. This unit emphasizes student collaboration in order to develop a set of performance test procedures for measuring Coaster Car performance. An incoming sixth grader can definitely join!
