Events include: Making Headway support at Crabtree's Kittle House and country line in Mount Kisco.

Here is a roundup of what is going on this week:

1. The public hearings for the Chappaqua Crossing retail plan will continue tonight at 7:45 p.m. at New Castle Town Hall in Chappaqua. The hearings are for the legislation to rezone a portion of the site to enable the proposal and to change the Town Development Plan. The proposal involves creating 120,000 square feet of retail space, including a grocery store of 36,000 to 66,000.

The town board may also adopt the proposal's final supplemental environmental impact statement (FSEIS) for the project, according to the agenda, a crucial step in winding down the review of the project.

2. Before the hearings, the New Castle Town Board will hold a work session and discuss a proposal for a winery on the West End of town. The discussion will start at 7:15 p.m. Click here for our coverage.

3. Meanwhile, the Mount Kisco Village Board of Trustees is continuing its public hearing for a series of proposed parking fine hikes. They include raising the handicapped parking fine from $75 to $125, raising the snow emergency level from $50 to $75 and raising the meter parking fine from $10 to $20. The hearing will be part of tonight's meeting, which starts at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall. Click here for the agenda and its packet to learn more.
