Tree Lightings; Stroll in Chappaqua

Here is a roundup for this weekend's events:

1. Mount Kisco will have a tree lighting on Friday, according to this announcement from the village. The event, which includes the Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce and the American Legion, starts at 6 p.m. and will be in the front space between village hall and the library. Santa and cocoa at the American Legion's hall will follow the event.

2. The New Castle Historical Society announced that it will have a tree lighting on Saturday at 5 p.m., which will be at the Horace Greeley House in Chappaqua. It will be preceded by a Holiday Open House, which goes from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will include children's crafts. 

3. Desires by Mikolay announced that it will have a holiday stroll in Chappaqua, which will coincide with the Holiday Open House. It will include caroling, shopping and refreshments. There will be ice sculpting at 2:30 p.m. and a sing-a-long at 3:30 p.m., followed by the historical society's tree lighting.

4. The Westchester Oratorio Society announced that it will have a rendition of Handel's Messiah, which will be on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Mount Kisco.

5. Mount Kisco's Methodist Church announced that it's having a Christmas bazaar and luncheon, which will be on Saturday at 9 a.m.
