The Karafin School, founded in 1958 by Geraldine Karafin, is a private coed school for ages 13 to 21, offering individualized curriculum for students with learning and emotional disabilities.
No student receives a failing grade; instead he or she is given the opportunity to finish the work and get a passing grade.
Education is tailored to the individual student and the small class size fosters supportive teacher/student relationships and facilitates more comprehensive learning.
