The board's most important areas of governance include handling taxes, budgeting and administration of the village government.</p> <p>The board meets every other Monday in the Mount Kisco Village Hall, except for holidays. Meetings are taped for the public to watch on channel 18, the local public cable channel. Agendas and minutes for each meeting are posted on the village's Web site.</p> <p>Public commenting is allowed at the end of each meeting. All correspondence to the Mayor and Village Board of Trustees can be sent to the Village Manager's office. The Board of Trustees meets every other Monday at 7:30pm with Planning Board meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 7:30pm. There is a Building Department which deals with code enforcement, engineering and recreation. Public records and vital statistics provide village residents with birth, death and marriage certificates.
