New Castle Town Board

The Town Board is New Castle's legislative entity and is responsible for lawmaking within the town, such as budgetingMore and taxes. Including the Town Supervisor, it is made up of five members. The board meets formally twice a month on the second and fourth Tuesdays. It also conducts informal meetings on the first and third Tuesdays.

New Castle Comptroller's Office

The Comptroller's Office handles the town's financial affairs. It works on preparing the budget with the TownMore Administrator and makes investments of the town's funds. It also works on the bonding process. The office works with staff who handle matters such as payroll, internal auditing and accounts payable and receivable.
