The noted restaurant's annual clam bake and pig roast has a large menu and devoted following.
Even the weather cooperated when hungry diners gathered for the renowned Crabtree's Kittle House Pig Roast and Clam Bake on July 22. Owner John Crabtree circulated, and greeted many in the crowd like old friends. "We'd never miss the chance to eat these fabulous lobsters," …

Will send portion of Sunday dinner revenue to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund.
Crabtree's Kittle House is taking a step to provide aid to ravaged Haiti. Yesterday was the first of two Sundays for when they will donate a portion of their dinner proceeds to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. Glenn Vogt, a partner in the restaurant, said that 20 percent of total revenue from last night and next Sunday's dinner hours will be sent. A legacy of Moses Taylor's estate could be moved to its new home as early as this Friday.
An old cottage that was once part of the estate of Moses Taylor is slated to be transported to a new located as early as this Friday. Chappaqua resident and interior designer Brenda Kelly Kramer purchased the house for $1 from property owner Steve Tavolacci last year to save it from being demolished, and has been working since last April to get things ready. It will be moved from its current location on Taylor Road to her home about three miles away. Kramer already has the top portion of the building at her property, but the first floor needs to be moved. She said that it will be cut vertically, right down the middle, and that temporary walls will be put into the cottage. The bottom part of the cottage is already off the foundation and on …

My wife and I got married at The Kittle House 24 years ago. It was great then and still is today. We go back every year on our anniversary and they could not be nicer to us. John and his staff are terrific, the food is delicious and the desserts are fantastic. We have taken friends and family there for dinner and brunch several times and have suggested it to many people looking for a restaurant …   more ›
