Marlies Wolf has been reviewing the performance arts for several media for years. For Patch specifically, she zeroed in on her special interest in opera and has reviewed the Live-at-the-Met Movies in HD since the 2009-2010 season. She also covered Art movies featured in Westchester. Her interest in all the arts were fostered by her education, (Music & Art and Barnard College,) which allowed her to attend everything important "on the boards" in New York from early on. Always making her living by writing, Mrs. Wolf was President of "The Copy Pool," a freelance adverstising service with major clients. She also co-authored a nationally syndicated column with Joy Daniels Singer. With husband and children she moved up to Scarsdale in 1973 and now lives in a condo in Hartsdale -- a devout Westchesterite!
