mom2mom of northern westchester, Neighbor

Founded in May 2009, mom2mom of northern westchester is a local moms group created by three moms who met at a playgroup. Since then, we have grown to become the central place for Northern Westchester & Putnam moms to find friendship, advice, support, and, of course, playdates for our kids (and occasionally ourselves). Members share their thoughts on our active discussion boards and schedule free or low cost events in their neighborhoods. We are a real face-to-face community of women who care for each other and our children. We are proof that it really does take a village.

Darry Coggshall, Organizer and Founder, mom2mom of northern westchester. A Long Island girl, Darry studied Women's Studies at SUNY New Paltz to find herself a career in fundraising and special events management for several national non-profits, including the Advertising Council, Autism Speaks and March of Dimes. She and her husband moved from Brooklyn to Mount Kisco "so he could mow a lawn and she could have her our own parking space." Five years later, she is a SAHM with two beautiful children, a girl and a boy ages 3 and 1. Mom2mom has given her an amazing opportunity to bring women of different backgrounds together who have a common interest - their wonderful children!

Heather Hoff, Co-organizer, mom2mom of northern westchester. Born and raised near Madison, WI, Heather was an undecided student who ended up with a bachelor of business degree (UWW). She has worked as a drafter, manager, account manager and continues to teach swim lessons and do consulting work. Heather has a passion for creating, learning, and teaching. Her husband moved to NY for a job opportunity in 2004 and she followed. They have settled in Yorktown Heights and Heather is blessed to be able to stay home with their two incredible girls, ages 3 and 1.
