New York’s First Indoor Sensory Playspace Announces Public Tours of its 16,000 Square Foot “Sensory Wonderland” in Chappaqua
What: WeeZee…World of Yes I Can is now open for tours of its 16,000 square foot indoor “sensory wonderland,” which will officially open its doors for play to children ages 1-12 on May 1st. WeeZee will offer a host of highly engaging, interactive and imaginative sensory experiences in a safe, supervised environment with equipment designed to improve academic performance, athletic coordination and social relationships in children of all ages.
Activities include a Rainforest/water experience, an Oxygen Bar, a Vibration Station a Storm Zone, Reaction Training & Sports Enhancement Stalls, a Karaoke/Music Jam room, a Zen Den and much more.

The opening of WeeZee in Westchester County will create more than 100 full- and part-time jobs in a variety of different fields including, therapy, education, design and clerical. There will also be opportunities for medical and academic internships for high school, college and medical school students.
Who: WeeZee is the brain child of Louise Weadock, a child psychiatric nurse whose own daughter was diagnosed at age four with a severe Sensory Integration Disorder and then began an extensive research program to determine the effects that multi-sensory experiences had on a child’s ability to understand, accept and adapt to her world.

When: Beginning Friday, April 6th, the private tour hours are as follows:
Monday-Fridays 1:30-2:30PM
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7PM
Saturdays from 10-11AM and 11-12PM
* April is Autism Awareness Month, and April 24th is National Sensory Awareness Day
