Tree of Life: Tree Lighting Ceremony

Annual Tree of Life Celebration - Holiday Inn, Mount Kisco

Hospice Care in Westchester & Putnam will kick off its Tree of Life celebration at the Holiday Inn in Mount Kisco with a tree lighting ceremony on Wednesday, November 30th, 2011 from 6:00pm – 7:30pm.  Lisa LaRocca, News 12 Westchester Reporter, will serve as the ceremony host, while Fox Lane High School Chamber Choir and Horace Greeley High School Madrigal Choir will provide festive music and entertainment.  Refreshments will be served during the event and is open to the public, free of charge.  The Tree of Life will run from November 30th thru December 24th at the Holiday Inn.  

This annual event benefit’s Hospice Care in Westchester & Putnam.  It captures the solemn spirit of the holiday season and provides people with a wonderful way to remember loved ones in a special way.  Individuals may purchase ornamental doves to be inscribed with the name of a loved one, which are then displayed on an evergreen tree at the Holiday Inn or Jefferson Valley Mall for the duration of the holiday season.  Doves may be purchased at the event locations or by calling (914) 666-4228 or online at www.vnahv.org.  Hospice Care in Westchester & Putnam would like to extend a special thank you to Dow Chemical, Bethel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Highland Pork.
