Patricia A. Murphy, 79
The longtime Pleasantville resident worked as a nurse for Northern Westchester Hospital and Byram Hills School District.

Patricia A. Murphy, 79, a longtime resident of Pleasantville, NY, was called to rest on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013. Patricia was born on Jan. 28, 1934, to the late Emil and Evelyn Burkhart.
Patricia married the love of her life, Frank, on Sept. 30, 1956. She is survived by 4 children Nancy and Barry (Zezze), Kathleen and Frank (Spina), Michael and Patricia and Joseph (Waschek), 11 grandchildren and her sister Judy Ryan.

Patricia graduated from Horace Greeley High School and the Westchester School of Nursing at Grasslands. She was a devoted Registered Nurse and worked at Northern Westchester Hospital and as a school nurse for Byram Hills School District before retiring. She loved her family and found joy in all their accomplishments.
The family will receive friends at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Pleasantville, on Tuesday Nov. 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 10 a.m., at Holy Innocents RC Church in Pleasantville.

Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Pleasantville. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice.
