Video Features Dispatch from Hook Road Fire

Officials consider the blaze to have been 'suspicious in nature.'

Audio of the dispatch for the Jan. 1 fire at 334 Hook Road in Katonah is online in the form of a YouTube video, which was posted several days ago.

The video (embedded at right) runs five minutes and 25 seconds. Calls for response from the Bedford Hills, Katonah and Mount Kisco fire departments for a "possible structure fire" can be heard in the beginning of the audio, which becomes scratchy at some points.

A vacant home on the property was destroyed during the early morning fire. Last week police told Patch the investigation into the blaze—which was deemed "suspicious in nature"—is ongoing.
