MKES 5th Grade Pasta Dinner Fundraiser

Mt. Kisco Elementary School Annual Pasta Dinner

MOUNT KISCO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FIFTH GRADERS are excited to announce they will be holding their annual Pasta Dinner on Friday, March 18th from 6 - 8:30 pm at Mount Kisco Elementary School, 47 West Hyatt Avenue in Mount Kisco. The school cafeteria will be transformed into a quaint Italian restaurant with live music.  The fifth graders act as waiters & waitresses during the event while their family members work hard behind the scenes in the kitchen cooking for over 500 guests.  The Pasta Dinner is the third in a series of fundraisers throughout the school year in which the fifth graders work to earn money to contribute to the cost of special field trips for their class.  This year, the fifth grade class is raising funds to see Wicked on Broadway and a day excursion to Club Getaway in Kent, CT.

The menu features salad, pasta with butter or sauce, meatballs and a variety of beverages and homemade desserts.  Local businesses and fifth grade families have donated items to create 14 great raffle baskets including an iPod Touch, gift certificates to our local restaurants, trial memberships at local gyms, and some children themed baskets.

“Families in Mt. Kisco look forward to this event each year.  The Mount Kisco business community has been extremely generous in donating food items and over $3,000 in raffle gifts; we could not put this on without their help.  This is sure to be a fun event for all!”  says Janet Deane, co-chair of this year’s event.

Tickets can be purchased at the door on the evening of the event for $8 for adults and $5.00 for children ages 4 to 12.
