Repairs Ongoing at Fox Lane Campus After Water Main Break [Updated]

Elementary schools will be open on time but attendance at the middle and high school will be on a three hour delay.

The middle and high school will be on a three-hour delay Tuesday, Bedford Schools' Superintendent Jere Hochman confirmed.

Repairs are still going on following a water main break at Bedford Central's Fox Lane Campus.

As of 7:30 p.m. the district had not yet completed repairs, officials said in an evening email.

Elementary schools will open on time, however, officials advised middle and high school students to check the website in the morning, listen for messages and check email for the status of attendance for Tues. April 9.

A water main break has occured on the Fox Lane campus in Bedford, the superintendent's office confirmed. 

As a result, students on campus are getting early dismissals, at 1:30 p.m. Afternoon and evening activities on the campus, but not at other schools in the Bedford school district, are also cancelled.

The Fox Lane campus, located off of Route 172, is home to Fox Lane High School, Fox Lane Middle School and the district's central administration office.
