1. The New Castle Town Board will meet tonight for a work session and, according to its agenda, will have discussion about The Spa at New Castle, which is the redevelopment plan for the Legionaries of Christ site off of Armonk Road. Specifically it will be about a scoping outline for a draft environmental impact statement. Developer Stephen Oder has proposed 50 condos, 34 hotel rooms, a spa and pool for the property. The town board's meeting starts at 7:45 p.m. at town hall in Chappaqua.
2. The town board will also get an update on the retail plan for Chappaqua Crossing, specifically regarding developer Summit/Greenfield's submission of a preliminary development concept plan, which is for the site's layout. It was disclosed in the submission for the plan that Whole Foods is the grocery store proposed for the property. More information about it is in the meeting's packet.
3. There will be a workshop today on retirement, according to this announcement, and it will be at the Katonah Village Library.
