LoHud: Burglaries at Churchill's, Ben & Jerry's

Police say that break-ins may be linked.

The Journal News reports that a burglary took place around midnight at Churchill's of Mount Kisco. The suspect smashed into the store, opened a display case and took jewelry. A witness contacted police after seeing shattered glass but the suspect was gone by the time they came to the site.

Police Chief Steve Anderson told the paper that the incident may be linked to a burglary last week at the Ben & Jerry's on 639 Main St. It took place on Jan. 7 at roughly 11 p.m.
