More Chappaqua, Millwood Businesses Reopen

Sunday status update, post-Hurricane Sandy.

(Editor's Note: Below is an update from the Chappaqua-Millwood Chamber of Commerce).

Many phones in downtown Chappaqua are not working but stores are open!   Bagel Emporium is open The King's Scribe open today 12-3:30p Aurora open today 10-5p Marmalade open today 12-3p Auntie Penny opening at 10a Chappaqua Village Market will be open at 10:30 to 6:30ish TODAY with 100% new products! Chappaqua Paint and Hardware opening @ 9a.  Susan Lawrence is open. Rite Aid is open! Gail Patrick's Cafe 8-4p today & regular hours tomorrow.  We are open for breakfast and lunch.We will stay open tonight and serve hot meals for dinner. Any requests? Come in charge your electric devices.

Wilson Prep is open today

Petticoat Lane is open today.

Millwood has power.

Drug Mart is open.

Rocky's is open.

Millwood garden center has power and is filling propane today.

Desires by Mikolay, normally closed on Mon., will be opening tomorrow 10-6 and we have a large conference room and hot spot where people can work or just get out of the house and read the paper Elegance II, normally closed on Mondays, will be open on Monday 11-4! 

Breeze will be open on Monday normal hours. We have available outlets for charging and great heat!

More news: Chamber official Rob Greenstein informed me that World Cup's nursery school and gymnastics programs in Chappaqua have power and will reopen Monday. New Castle Physical Therapy in Millwood is also reopening, Greenstein confirmed.

More updates: Rob Greenstein has informed me that Crabtree's Kittle House is back. Also, Le Jardin du Roi. Also, I saw a note in front of Chappaqua Eye Gallery stating that it will be open on Monday from noon to 2 p.m.

Also reopening, according to the updates I've received from Rob, include: Friedricks Interiors in Chappaqua, A&S Fine Foods in Millwood and the Center for Aligned Healing.

Hi Lisa! Thanks for your questions. In this unit (Vehicles In Motion) the kids will build CoasterRead More Cars and test different aspects of the motion of their vehicles such as: distance traveled, acceleration, straightness, and friction. This unit emphasizes student collaboration in order to develop a set of performance test procedures for measuring Coaster Car performance. An incoming sixth grader can definitely join!
