Abe Levy Retirement; Santa at Legion Hall

This weekend has several notable events for the community, including the send off of a long-time doctor and the welcoming of St. Nick.

1. Dr. Abe Levy, the medical director at the Mount Kisco Medical Group, is retiring after a 4-decade career, the village announced. This Sunday, he will be honored with a retirement reception at the Mount Kisco Public Library, from 2-5 p.m.

Levy's professional background, according to his bio, includes serving as MKMG's chief quality officer, chairman of AMGA-PAC and helping to implement electronic medical records at MKMG.

2. As the song goes, Santa Claus is coming to town! The fun starts at Leonard Park's memorial pool house at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday morning, the village announced. Kids can then head over on a fire truck to Mount Kisco's American Legion hall, where they will be met by you know who!

3. Test your Christmas knowledge Sunday with the Christmas Quiz! It starts at 10 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco. Click here for details. 

4. Pour Cafe & Wine Bar is holding a holiday toy drive to benefit Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla. The drive is Sunday at 11 a.m. Click here for details.

5. Temple Beth El of Northern Westchester will be hosting a simulcast of a program called "God is One: Moses, Jesus, Muhammad." It will be on Sunday at 8 p.m. Click here for details.
