The tree next to the Horace Greeley House has been lit, which is the case for every holiday season.
The house, which is located in downtown Chappaqua, is the headquarters of the New Castle Historical society, which scheduled its annual tree lighting for Saturday.
As folks were gathered outside of the house, there was a Santa visit.
