Angela Costa, Lifelong Mt. Kisco Resident, 81

Costa passed away on Feb. 10 at the age of 81. Her memorial service is on Saturday.

Angela Costa, 81, died on February 10, 2013, in Mt. Kisco, New York, after enduring a long and brave battle with ALS.

She was born on May 2, 1931, in Mt. Kisco, the daughter of the late Elena & Deemer Di Gasbarro. She is survived by her husband Frank Costa, her daughters Leslie Costa and Susan Costa-Walston, her granddaughter Clare Walston and her sister Katherine Lessersohn. She also leaves behind a loving extended family, as well as many close friends.

A lifelong resident of Mt. Kisco, she worked in the Bedford Public Schools for over 30 years. She enjoyed language, culture, cooking, music and laughter. She had a keen eye for beauty in all things and a truly original sense of humor. She was loved by many and will be truly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 23rd in the Chapel of the St. Francis of Assisi Church at 2 Green Street in Mt. Kisco. The service will be followed by a burial ceremony at St. Francis Cemetery on Lexington Avenue in Mt. Kisco.
