Man Accused of Punching Neighbor
Aug. 1, 10:49 a.m., West Hyatt Avenue
Police arrested Patrick Bavero, a 44-year-old village resident, and charged him with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor. He is accused of punching another man, who lives in another apartment unit within their shared West Hyatt Avenue residence. Bavero allegedly caused injury to the man's upper lip. The dispute apparently, police said, was over use of a common bathroom in the building.

Bench Warrant Arrest

Glenmore Nembhard, a 32-year-old Mount Kisco man, was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant, police said. He is accused of failing to show up to a justice court date, to respond to charges of trespassing and drinking in public.
Stolen Satchel Reported
July 31, 5:42 p.m., North Bedford Road
A woman reported that a satchel of hers was stolen from her vehicle, which was parked in the lot outside of Staples. The satchel, combined with items inside, have a total estimated value of $557. The woman left a window open to give her dog fresh air, and it is believed that an individual may have taken advantage of the situation to gain access to the vehicle, and in turn, the satchel.
South Moger Pedestrian Victim of Hit and Run
Aug. 1, 10:32 a.m., South Moger Avenue
The man who along a South Moger Avenue crosswalk was also a hit-and-run victim, according to police. The man did not get any description of who struck him, other than that the vehicle was a white Honda Accord. The person was treated for minor injuries.
Vehicle vs. Fence
Aug. 3, 1:56 p.m., Hillside Avenue
A woman reported that her fence was damaged the previous night. It appears that the cause may have ben by a vehicle.
Suspended License Arrest
Aug. 3, 10:21 a.m. North Bedford Road
Police arrested a 27-year-old Mount Kisco resident. The person was charged with driving with a suspended license.
