UPDATE: Woman Found Dead at Holiday Inn is ID'd

The woman whose body was discovered by Mount Kisco police has been identified as a 46-year-old Yorktown resident, according to the county medical examiner's office.

Update, 7 p.m. Wednesday: 

The woman who was found dead at the Mount Kisco Holiday Inn has been identified by the Westchester County Medical Examiner's office as Ruth Annis, a 46-year-old Yorktown resident.

No cause of death has been determined, the office stated, and a cause may be known in about 16-20 weeks. The examiner's office also reiterated the police department's statement, in that no foul play is suspected.

Original Story, 3:15 p.m. Wednesday:

A woman was found dead on Tuesday afternoon at Mount Kisco's Holiday Inn, according to Mount Kisco police.

The person was discovered around 3:05 p.m. after police went to the building in response to a report of an "unresponsive party." The woman, identified as caucasian and in her mid 40's, was found dead on arrival.

So far, police do not believe there was foul play involved. The Westchester County Medical Examiner's office was slated to perform an autopsy on Wednesday, police said. The woman's name is not being disclosed due to pending notification with her family.

Providing mutual aid were the Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Westchester County police and the Westchester County District Attorney's office.
