New Castle Roads Closed Amid Nor'easter

Meeting House Road, Route 133 among closed roads.

Two roads in northern New Castle have been closed as a nor'easter hits the town.

New Castle Police announced Wednesday evening that Meeting House Road, by Haines Road and Lake Road, was closed because of a transformer fire. Con Edison is responding, police announced.

Route 133 was closed in both directions by Longview Lane, police announced, because of low-hanging wires.
