A Dutchess County woman allegedly drove off a road and was subsequently charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated (aggravated DWI), according to Mount Kisco police.
The woman, Cassandra Hatcher, is a 30-year-old resident of the Dover Plains area, according to police. The matter was reported at 12:05 a.m. on March 10, on West Main Street. Hatcher is accused of having a blood alcohol content level of .22 percent, almost three times the .08-percent threshold that can trigger basic DWI charge.
A charge of aggravated DWI is triggered when an accused person has a BAC level of .18 percent or higher, according to the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles.
The vehicle that Hatcher was driving sustained slight damage, police said. She is due in Mount Kisco Justice Court on March 21 and was released on her own recognizance.
