Police: Mt. Kisco Man Arrested After Cocaine Discovery

A Mount Kisco man was charged on Friday after authorities discovered more than two ounces of cocaine in his home and 15 bags of it in his possession, Mount Kisco Police allege.

Police state that several search warrants were executed Friday between 10:45 a.m. and 2 p.m., in conjunction with the Westchester County District Attorney's Narcotics Initiative. They involved searching suspect Wayne George Brown and his home on Woodland Street. The cocaine was discovered as a result of the searches, police stated.

Brown, 38, was arrested and charged with both third-degree criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance, which are both felonies. He was arraigned in Mount Kisco Justice Court by Village Justice John Donohue and transferred to Westchester County Jail in Valhalla. He does not have the option of bail and will return to local court on Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.

Brown is also on probation for a drug offense from 2008 that also happened in Mount Kisco, police stated.
