Chappaqua Crossing: New Environmental Document

Chappaqua Crossing owner Summit/Greenfield has submitted a final supplemental environmental impact statement (FSEIS) for its retail proposal, a document that will be discussed by the town board at tonight's meeting, according to the meeting agenda.

According to the agenda, the first half of the FSEIS has already been reviewed by town consultants and staff.

The town board's meeting, a work session, starts tonight at 7:45 p.m. at New Castle Town Hall in Chappaqua. To search for the agenda and packet, click here.

The FSEIS is an updated document that replaces a draft supplemental environmental impact statement (DSEIS) for the 120,000-square-foot retail plan, which involves an application seeking rezoning for part of the site to enable the construction. Public comment for the DSEIS took place in April and May, which included contentious public hearing meetings.
