April 19 is Now a Make-up School Day for Chappaqua

Because of the March 8 snow storm, superintendent states that the school will be in session for April 19.

Chappaqua schools will hold a regular day on April 19 to make up for Friday's snow day, Superintendent Lyn McKay announced in a community email.

The date was previously designated as a staff development day, she wrote. However, spring break, which is from March 25-29, is not affected by lost school time.

"Let's hope we have no more snow this school year!" McKay wrote.
